![]() “Pick up the pace, Ads, you can’t stay on the rungs all night!” his coworker calls, and then with very little fanfare BJ pulls himself off the ladder, over the side, onto the roof. Ahead of him, the clanging of metal ceases, and then a rough voice calls down to him. He’s scaling up the side of this building like a teen looking for trouble, not a grown man with an office job. As fueled by adrenaline as he is, the usual fear he might feel when he casts his gaze back down is instead replaced with nervous laughter. To make a long story short, Adam’s not really sure why he’s drunk, scaling a ladder on the side of this building, following behind someone he finds extremely difficult.
